We spoke with Linda directly in order to learn why.

She successfully persuaded Nielsen Ratings not to use their ratings, while creating One Platform as an easy digital platform allowing advertisers to purchase ads across multiple media platforms more seamlessly.

Comcast’s FreeWheel advertising management solution will also be fully integrated, giving marketers national-scale access to real-time primary source audience data and advanced analytics.

One People

As co-founder and former board member of One People’s Project, she possesses an in-depth understanding of the difficulties white nationalist groups in America face. Named for a protest staged on July 4, 2000 against Nationalist Movement rallies, One People’s Project conducted research on and published information regarding such events so as to inform citizens how best to respond and counter them.

Yaccarino has earned several accolades for her advocacy of brand safety, transparency and moral leadership; among them is receiving the Don Davis Lecture in Advertising Ethics from Penn State University.

Yaccarino has already earned praise for integrating and digitizing ad sales at NBCUniversal, but now her task will be to turn around Twitter in light of agency pushback over data privacy concerns. Her friends say one thing is clear – she is unafraid of a challenge, which will be her greatest task at hand.
