Robin Christensen-Roussimoff is an actress and wrestling enthusiast committed to carrying on her father’s legacy of care for those suffering from acromegaly. She has become well known in entertainment while being involved with charitable efforts aimed at increasing awareness for this illness.

Jean Christensen worked in the World Wrestling Federation’s public relations department and met Andre the Giant during her time there.

Robin never got much time with either her father, Andre Christensen, due to their wrestling commitments and frequent travel for events. Her mother Jean Christensen worked in Andre’s public relations department in the 70s.

Though they did not share an especially close bond, Andre always made an effort to stay in contact with his daughter Robin and never made her feel left out. Robin still lives in Seattle and prefers keeping her life private but occasionally shares thoughts about Andre with fans at events such as Comic Con.

Presently, Robin serves as a consultant on an upcoming film that will chronicle the life of her late father – something that makes her very happy!

Beginning her career with Raggedy Ann and Andy in a suburban Detroit theater production, she went on to appear in various regional theatre and television productions before landing an advertisement spot for Michigan State Lottery in 1997.

She first gained recognition with her role as Elle Bishop on Heroes from 2007-2008, followed by Jeannie Van der Hooven on Showtime’s House of Lies and as voice actor/narrator in Gossip Girl (1999 & 2021 sequel). Additionally, she can regularly be found as Eleanor Shellstrop on NBC’s comedy series The Good Place.
