Linda Yaccarino is a media and advertising industry veteran well known for her skillful yet robust negotiations. As head of NBCUniversal’s Ad Sales business, Linda transformed their $70 billion premium video ecosystem.
Yaccarino led her company through several significant milestones during her time there, such as introducing Peacock as an ad-supported streaming service and forging partnerships with tech firms like Twitter. Peacock
Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service, will expand its live news lineup with MSNBC’s Morning Joe and CNBC’s Squawk Box being streamed live starting March 28th, joining existing offerings such as NBC News Now and Today which already stream on Peacock Premium Plus subscription plans and provide access to local NBC affiliate channels in certain markets.
Peacock TV launched as an ad-supported service in 2020 and provides access to original content and shows from NBCUniversal’s vast catalog, such as 30 Rock. In addition, it streams live sports events and news coverage by NBC. Peacock is an effective alternative to live cable services such as Sling TV or YouTube TV; Peacock also carries live channels like NFL Channel Premier League WWE Network Hallmark Channel Reelz Channel etc on multiple platforms like Amazon Fire TV Roku etc.
